Q: How did you come up with the name "Kendor"?

A: It's a combination of our last names - Dorin & Keen. Fortunately, Colette got top billing. Otherwise we'd be running the “Dorkee Ranch”.

Q: Why Montana?

A: Why Not? Seriously, when Rick retired, he & Colette wanted to get away from the urban jungle and relocate to a small town. The timing was right, this property was for sale at the right price, and they were able to sell their home in California quickly. Things just fell into place.

Q: How did you find this property?

A: Over the internet. Isn't that how everybody shops for real estate these days? We did look at other properties in the valley before we decided on this one.

Q: How did Denver end up with you?

A: Like us, Denver wanted to get away to a small town. He moved here from Las Vegas about six months after we got here.

Q: How long have you lived at the ranch?

A: Rick and Colette arrived on April 3, 1999 (after an arduous three-day trip). Denver arrived on September 21, 1999 (after an equally arduous two-day trip).
